JOHN EAGLE EUROPEAN TO BRING ASTON MARTIN AND BENTLEY TO SAN ANTONIO NEW CAR SHOW FOR FIRST TIME
John Eagle European will debut the latest models from Aston Martin and Bentley at the San Antonio New Car Show in the city’s convention center on Nov. 19 -22, 2009. This will be the first time that the dealership has been part of the show and the first time that the two storied British marques have had an official presence in San Antonio in the last decade. John Eagle European offers fine automobiles by Aston, Bentley and Lotus. The exotic cars to be displayed at the event include a “magma red” Aston Martin DBS coupe, “tungsten silver” Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster, Ice Bentley Supersports and Black Diamond Bentley Continental GTC Speed

"As the factory dealer for Aston Martin and Bentley in the beautiful hill country, we’re proud to be part of the San Antonio new car show,” said Sonny Morgan, dealer principal at John Eagle European. “Participating in this show will give clientele from across the area an opportunity to experience these wonderful cars that combine engineering excellence and design perfection."
Aston Martin’s range of handcrafted high performance cars include the flagship DBS, elegant DB9 and iconic V8 Vantage. It was the 36th Aston Martin dealership to open in North America.
The V12 powered DBS coupe fuses race-bred technology and design excellence for a superior motoring experience. In standard specification, the DBS has a rear-mounted six-speed manual gearbox; 510 BHP engine and carbon ceramic brakes. The bonnet, front wings and trunk lid are made from carbon fiber to reduce weight. The car has a top speed of 191 mph.
The DBS Volante is a 2+2 featuring two occasional rear seats, ideal for younger persons or extra luggage. The DBS Volante also comes with Bang & Olufsen's renowned “BeoSound DBS” in-car entertainment system, featuring 13 speakers as standard equipment.
John Eagle European became the 47th Bentley location in North America earlier this year. Vehicles from Bentley are the Arnage, Azure convertible, Continental GT and GT Speed coupe, Continental Flying Spur, Flying Spur Speed sedan, Continental GTC convertible, Azure T, GTC Speed and Continental Supersports. In its first month of operation, John Eagle European earned a ranking of fifth in the country for Bentley. .
The Continental GTC is an elegant Grand Touring convertible in the Bentley tradition. The GTC Speed has a range of dynamic enhancements that deliver a more sporting, Bentley driving experience. The 600 BHP Bentley GTC Speed can sprint from 0-60 mph in a mere 4.5 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds) and go from 0-100 mph in 10.6 seconds (0-160 km/h in 10.5 seconds).
“The GTC Speed offers supercar performance, superb refinement, comfort and unrivalled craftsmanship all in one car,” noted Morgan. “It perfectly evokes the spirit of the original Bentley ‘Speed Model’ of the 1920s.”
The cars will be located in the main hall of the convention center. John Eagle European specialists will be in attendance throughout the show.
