JOHN EAGLE EUROPEAN RAISES $21,500 FOR CAPITAL AREA FOOD BANK OF TEXAS

John Eagle European and its customers presented a check for $21,500 to the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas on Dec. 17, 2009. A caravan of owners drove from the Aston Martin, Bentley and Lotus dealership in a variety of luxury sports cars to make the presentation.

"We feel privileged to live in the Texas hill country,” said Sonny Morgan, dealer principal at John Eagle European. “While hosting an event for our customers recently, we discussed agreed to conduct a fundraiser to help those in our community who are struggling a bit this holiday season.”

John Eagle European began the fundraiser on Dec. 9 and raised $21,500 in one week. The dealership generously supported the initiative and challenged fellow Texans to donate it or their preferred charity.

The Capital Area Food Bank of Texas’ mission (www.austinfoodbank.org) is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in ending hunger. In its 28th year of service, the Food Bank currently provides food and grocery products to 355 Partner Agencies in 21 Central Texas counties. In 2008, CAFB distributed more than 17 million pounds of food.

“This was our first major fundraiser since opening about six months ago,” said added Morgan. “We plan to plan make an even bigger impact on community through programs like this in the future.”

John Eagle European was the 36th Aston Martin dealership and the 47th Bentley location in North America. Opened in April 2009, it services and sells a full range of handcrafted, high performance vehicles from the flagship Aston Martin DBS, to the Bentley Continental GTC and Lotus Evora.

John Eagle European and its clients will caravan a group of exotic cars to the Capital Area Food Bank and present a $21,000+ check from their first fundraiser today at 2:15 PM, Dec. 17, 2009.

Dealer principal Sonny Morgan recently opened the Aston Martin, Lotus and Bentley dealership. He challenged his customers and area residents to raise desperately needed money for the Capital Area Food Bank. They will make a high profile entrance and presentation to Molly Robbins in front of the building at:

JOHN EAGLE EUROPEAN CHALLENGES AUSTIN TO JOIN FUNDRAISER FOR CAPITAL AREA FOOD BANK OF TEXAS

John Eagle European has launched a challenge to the hill country to join its fundraiser for the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. The Aston Martin, Bentley and Lotus dealership, and its customers are collecting money to help nourish hungry Central Texans. The dealership on Research Boulevard will raise funds through Dec. 16, 2009.

"Everyone in the John Eagle European family supports the efforts of the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas to feed those in our community who are hungry,” said Sonny Morgan, dealer principal at John Eagle European. “It’s so easy to make the difference between a family being nourished or going hungry. When our team volunteered to raise funds for this important cause, several customers asked to match the funds we collect as a challenge grant.”
