Get Involved. John Eagle European is!

While several of us are free from worrying when our next meal will be, this is not the case for many in Central Texas. This year, John Eagle European is primarily helping raise money for the Capital Area Food Bank, but that’s not the only organization JEE has supported since it opened in 2009.

Throughout the last year, JEE has been involved with Dell’s Children’s Hospital, the Austin’s Children Shelter, Muscular Dystrophy Association of Austin, along with several more. The team believes it is important to be a “good citizen” of the community. Last May, JEE partnered with Dell’s Children Hospital and help put together the “Stiletto Strut.” Prominent women raced in stilettos from one end of The Domain to another—it was a sight to see. Everyone had a blast and supported a good cause at the same time.

John Eagle European is committed to improving the community. What about you? If you have an itch for doing something for someone else but are not quite sure how, attend Leander’s next Cars and Coffee on June 27 anytime from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can support the Capital Area Food Bank by doing one of the following:

1.Bringing a canned or non-perishable food items to the show; if you can't bring a canned or non-perishable food item, consider a suggested donation of $5 per person
2.Buying a cup of coffee from one of the vendors at the show to support the charity

Every $5 donation provides $25 worth of nutritious food for hungry Central Texans. So that means you could have a major impact on YOUR community while also having a great time.

Who can say no to nourishing a person deprived of food, especially a child?

Happy Birthday, John Eagle European!

Exactly one year ago on May 14, 2009, John Eagle European opened its first dealership in Austin, Texas. To commemorate this momentous landmark, John Eagle European threw a huge celebration on May 20, 2010. The night was filled with good food, great music and more importantly amazing cars.

This exclusive event began at 4:30 p.m. with crowds of people throughout the evening. Local artist Kat Edmonson was the featured entertainment taking center stage as people mingled and enjoyed the music among the beautiful Aston Martins, Bentleys and Lotus cars.

The night continued as family and friends tried delicious food from several of the restaurants who helped sponsor the party, such as Vivo, Rocco’s Grill, Maria Maria La Cantina, Rudy’s, Cool River Café and Steiner Ranch Steakhouse.

“The celebration couldn’t have happened without the community’s support and a special thanks to all the companies who helped sponsor the party like Sali & Ski Center, Bijan Oriental rugs and Steinway Piano Gallery,” said dealer principal Sonny Morgan.

The dazzling cars weren’t the only things people had their eyes on. Saks Fifth Avenue displayed some of their finest jewelry, which they allowed partygoers to try on.

John Eagle also attended the event and continued the celebration by cutting the cakes- one each for Aston Martin, Bentley and Lotus. Everyone enjoyed themselves as the night went on. Even three people left as new owners of beautiful, striking cars.

“We’re so glad that everyone could make it to the celebration with us because ya’ll are the reason we had such a successful year,” said Morgan. We look forward to doing it again.”

Note: Other companies that helped sponsor- Cakes by Jerry, Frost Banking Investments Insurance and Prairie Organic Vodka
